About the Role
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for daily data entry, inquiry, vendor setup, reporting, reconciliation, and filing as it relates to the Accounts Payable function. This will include invoice entry/matching, vendor inquiry, filing, reporting, check runs, month end close, and audit support. 

Responsibilities
  • Invoice receipt, entry, filing, discrepancy resolution, and verification of approval/account assignments
  • New Vendor setup/maintenance within ERP system
  • Main point of contact for all vendor payment inquiry; addressing, resolving, and escalating inquiries as needed
  • Performing vendor check runs
  • Reporting and analysis as it relates to accounts payable
  • Support month end closing through preparing journal entries, accruals and A/P reconciliations
  • Provide audit support
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested
Requirements
  • Associates degree in Accounting with a minimum 1 years’ equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business preferred
  • International Accounts Payable experience preferred
  • Must be able to establish and maintain Accounts Payable operating processes and procedures
  • Must have sound accounting training and knowledge
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to work within short deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with others
  • Work independently while effectively communicating and coordinating work efforts with others
  • Prior healthcare/pharmaceutical experience preferred
  • Hybrid Opportunity – 3 days a week in Princeton Junction, NJ office
