About the Role
As a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst, you will lead our financial planning, budgeting and analytical activities. You will provide insightful analysis and strategic guidance to support decision making at all levels of the organization. We are looking for someone who has a passion for numbers with an understanding of how forecasting, trends and planning can provide business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Perform financial analysis to recommend actionable insights to senior management for financial plans, trends, forecasts, variances and areas for opportunity or concern
Conduct evaluations on justifications for capital expenditures
Support management with information requests for areas of cost and revenue
Ongoing analysis of corporate projects and investments
Document and review revenue and expenses to compare against actual to forecasted figures, making adjustments as needed
Collaborate cross-functionally to identify areas for opportunity including forecasting accuracy and resource allocation optimizations
Perform analysis to help with the month end close
Job Requirements:
Associates degree in Accounting with a minimum 3 years’ equivalent experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business preferred
Big Four CPA firm experience strongly preferred
Must be able to work under pressure and within short deadlines
Must be able to communicate effectively and pro-actively
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping
Excellent organizational skills, with a strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated ability to work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with others
