About the Role The Senior Accountant position has varied responsibilities but primarily supports the international accounting close processes, including reporting requirements. This will be a key partner to the accounting team interacting with the various international country general managers where work product has visibility at the Senior Leadership level.
Responsibilities
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations for all international accounts, and other corporate accounts as necessary
Prepare journal entries throughout the month as activity occurs
Support the corporate accounting team in the accounting close process by pulling reports from ERP and subledger systems, updating and maintaining key files, and other tasks as needed
Support internal and external audit requests
Support external SOX requests
Proactively identify business, accounting, and finance risks and provide recommendations to mitigate risk
Prepare and maintain ad hoc analyses as requested
Work collaboratively with the Corporate Accounting Manager to drive process improvements across the accounting/finance platform

Requirements
Bachelors’ degree in Accounting and CPA is preferred or working toward CPA license Progressive experience in accounting and finance roles in a CPA firm
2+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience
Big Four CPA firm experience strongly preferred
Strong track record of achievement in complex, fast-paced business environments
Ability to work well under pressure and to work within short deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with others
